make my day.

So…I’ll preface this by saying I haven’t set foot in Kohls in at least 5 years. Even after I heard about Vera Wang’s Simply Vera line, I couldn’t quite make it there. I really just don’t think about Kohls at all when I want to go shopping. If I don’t want to spend a lot of money, I go to Target, H&M, or… Actually, now that I think about it, I do a lot of my shopping online these days–I can’t remember the last time I bought something in the store. So yeah, for the online stuff I go to Amazon, and would never ever think about going to Kohls.com. But, hmm! maybe I should start! Look at these shoes I recently found!

Kind of want to get a pair of these…for every pair you buy, Toms donates a pair to a child in need. Who doesn’t love that? Plus I think they’re really pretty cute, and Nancy says they’re uber comfy.

Well, I’m officially on a spending freeze, except for food (and the parking ticket I just got yesterday…argh). I’m hoping to save enough to do something fun over the holidays, though likely it’ll be decided last minute. I wouldn’t say no to a mini roadtrip in the NE, but it all depends on who’s around and dates and all that. We’ll see, but it should be fun.

If I WEREN’T on a freeze though, I might have to seriously consider these flats…

I kinda like these shoes (on sale at Nordstrom) from Nike, and if they didn’t have that toe and other toes divider, I would probably be wearing them. But I dunno…too weird?

For my birthday, Grandma and Poppa got me a pair of bright yellow patent leather flats (yay!! and pictures eventually, since I can’t seem to find them online) so this morning I was feeling in the mood to window shop. Here’s the best of what I found, some from summer, some for fall:

Well, I need some new flat boots since my ones from Barcelona officially DIED last year. I really like my leather Uggs, but they have a bit of a heel on them, and anyway I need some brown ones…preferably that hugged my legs a little tighter so they didn’t make weird bulges against my jeans. Hmmm…ideas?

I really love the new Stella McCartney line at adidas. I especially like the gray booties and the ballet flats! Oh and the black sneakers…kinda glam for a sneaker Oh, well okay, I pretty much like them all. I am still holding out for an interview at Nike, so if that happens I’ll have to tell them that they need to up the anty in the shoe department hehehe. But my interview with TJX went well yesterday (I think!), and I should hear early next week if I got it or not! Yay!

Oh, the last pair isn’t by Stella McCartney; it’s their Mega Bounce running shoe…looks pretty nifty!
